At United Carpets & Beds, we're focused on providing high levels of customer service and how we look after our customers along their entire purchasing journey. We offer Free Home Measure appointments to ensure that your order is accurate and to minimise wastage. Up to 4 Free Samples can be ordered directly from our website giving you the piece of mind that the flooring you desire will perfectly suit your décor. Our Price Beating Promise means that you will never pay more for your flooring than you would at any of our competitors (Terms and Conditions Apply). Our in store and online teams are highly trained to advise you on all aspects of your new purchase. Our legendary Free Fitting offer means that you’ll never have to worry about fitting costs when you buy your carpets with the equivalent size in our Airstep or Treadmore underlay.
Carpets and Flooring
Your order/quote will be processed by your local United Carpets & Beds store who will contact you to confirm the details of your order/quote.
Once all of your ordered flooring items have arrived with your local store, they will be in touch to arrange a suitable time and date for collection/delivery/fitting as applicable.
Delivery and fitting timescales will usually be within 7-10 working days (although this is dependant on product and fitting availability).

Beds and Mattresses
All bed and mattress orders will be despatched directly from our central warehouse. Our beds delivery team will contact you shortly after your order has been processed to confirm the order. Once all of your items have been taken into stock, our delivery team will contact you to arrange a convenient time and date.
Delivery timescales will usually be within 10 - 14 working days, subject to items being in stock at time of order.

Please note, we can only offer a Bed Frame Build and Disposal service within 25 miles driving distance from our stores. If your residence falls outside this designated service area, we kindly request that you contact our dedicated bed delivery team for assistance with bed frame assembly or packaging removal.

In the event that we have not been able to deliver your goods due to you not being at home, you may incur additional charges to arrange re-delivery.

We can deliver to all Mainland England, Scotland & Wales postcodes. However, weight & size limits may be applied to carpet, vinyl and artificial grass orders in the following areas:

Cancellations & Returns
Please see our Terms And Conditions Of Sale (6) for your cancellation rights and applicable charges.
If any Contract is cancelled by the Customer prior to delivery, the Customer will be liable to pay the Company 20% (special order Contracts 30%) of the price of the Goods to cover expenses incurred and this will be deducted from any deposit or advance payment paid by the Customer. The Contract cannot be cancelled by the Customer after delivery. The Company may cancel the Contract at any time before it notifies the Customer that the Goods are ready for delivery/collection if it is unable to fulfil the Contact due to any cause beyond its control. In this event, the Company’s only liability is to refund any deposit or advance paid by the Customer.
If your order has been processed, but not been delivered and you wish to cancel it please call your local store. Their contact details will be detailed in your Shipment Confirmation email. Alternatively, you can call our Online Team on 0330 311 2442 and we will check with your local store.
Cancellation and Return Exceptions
Due to the intimate nature of Beds, these items are exempt from the statutory Consumer Contract Regulations 14 day cooling off when they have been unsealed. Therefore, for reasons of health and hygiene any beds, mattresses or bedding that has been unsealed will be deemed to be used and cannot be returned for any reason other than a manufacturing fault.
Flooring will be cut to fit the customer’s order specifications, so will be not be covered by the Consumer Contract Regulations 14 day cooling off period. We strongly advise using our Free Measure & Estimate service to ensure that your room measurements are as accurate as possible. If you have ordered your flooring recently and your collection/delivery/fitting date has not yet been arranged, we may be able to pause your order processing until after you have been measured by one of our expert team members. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns
There is a collection charge of £30 for United Carpets & Beds to collect the Goods in the original packaging and in the original condition, the collection charge will be deducted from the refund value and the original delivery charge is non refundable.
Should the Goods not be adequately packaged at the time of collection then they will not be collected and United Carpets & Beds retain the right to charge a further £30 for "re-collection" to cover costs incurred. The "re-collection" charge will be deducted from the refund value.
Following collection or return, should Goods be found to be damaged (not in their original condition), and the damage is not the result of our actions or negligence, United Carpets & Beds will deduct a reasonable amount from the refund to cover such damage. (Such amount not to exceed the price of the Goods).
Should the buyer unreasonably fail or refuse to make the Goods available to us when requested within 21 days then the Goods must be kept and good care taken of them until they are collected or returned.
No refund shall be made until the Goods have been collected/returned and inspection made as to their condition.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method and can take up to 14 days to process.

Faulty Goods
Complaints relating to faulty Goods should be notified in writing within 7 days of the fault becoming apparent and should be addressed to Customer Services Department, United Carpets & Beds, Moorhead House, Moorhead Way, Bramley, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S66 1YY or by e-mail to customerservice@unitedcarpets.net.
In the rare event that Goods develop a fault, United Carpets & Beds retains the right to have the Goods repaired or replaced at United Carpets & Beds discretion, and any delivery costs associated with the exchange of faulty Goods will be met by United Carpets & Beds.
Where Goods are reported as faulty later than seven days after delivery, the Company reserves the right to arrange an independent inspection and if the Goods are found on inspection to not be faulty by the result of fair wear and tear, negligence or wilful damage, the Company retains the right to make a reasonable charge to cover the cost of the independent inspection. This charge will be taken from the debit/credit card used to purchase the Goods. The Customer and the Company shall both agree to be bound by the results/findings of the independent inspector.
