Measurements Guide
Room measurements must be given in 0.1 Metre increments. If you are measuring your room in Feet and Inches, please use this handy conversion chart to find the correct width or length in Metres. If your measurement falls inbetween the sizes below, please round up to the nearest 0.1 Metre.
The Westex Ultima Major Twist carpet offers a superb combination of performance and comfort. Available in a fantastic range of 120 colours and 5 widths, this carpet is made of a premium wool blend with 20% nylon for improved recovery, resilience & durability and a 2-fold tufted yarn that prevents crushing underfoot. This supreme carpet comes with a number of unique treatments that extends its life and preserves its quality.
All Westex carpets have a Stain Resist treatment applied. This protects your carpet by preventing dirt and liquids penetrating the fibre. They remain locked on the surface, stopping absorption and giving you time to clean. Stain Resist will last 5 years, subject to normal reasonable use. Shampooing and professional carpet cleaning products cannot break the bonds between the active chemical and fibre.
As well as Stain Resist, the Major Twist includes Moth Guard that protects your carpet against moths and other wool-eating insects, and Fresh Guard, a treatment that inhibits the growth of bacteria and mould fungi. Finally, the Major Twist includes Allergy Guard that protects against pests, bacteria and other common household allergens. All three of these treatments combine with the fibres on a permanent basis and will last the lifetime of the carpet.

The underlay we reccomend with this carpet is our Airstep Emerald 10.3mm thickness rubber underlay. The tog rating for this underlay is 1.47 and this is our best underlay that we stock.
